"How can the infrastructure in different areas improve to give everyone Internet access? Improvements to various infrastructures mainly online social websites are connecting more people everyday. As the platforms of the websites are redesigned, become easier to navigate and use. A large factor of why Facebook has become so popular with currently over 2 billion users is it’s constant user testing and bug fixes. This allows for easier and more efficient access. The goal of such websites like Facebook is to connect people and let them communicate from any location where there is Internet access."
"A large improvement on this has been the improvements of smartphones and tablets with the ability of wireless Internet. Wireless Internet allows for areas that wouldn’t be able to have Internet through cables. Also in addition, smartphones and tablets are replacing the need for an actual computer. They have all of the functions of most computers but are smaller, more convenient, cheaper and in some aspects faster. They allow for the use of mobile applications that are sometimes easier to use than the actual website. For example, Facebook’s mobile app includes a separate app just for messaging. You can either look at pictures, feeds, and stories on the Facebook app, or if you want to just message you can use the Messenger App. This makes navigation and use much easier."
