They have a wonderful grey patina and have years of wear on them. This is awesome for custom furniture makers , as flooring, wall planking, unique barn door and cabinet construction. This product looks great sanded and waxed or you can plane it off approx 1/16" to reveal a more modern look with a hint of wear.
